McAllen Memorial takes victory over Juarez Lincoln

MCALLEN, TEXAS - In a District 15-5A DI matchup, the McAllen Memorial Mustangs secured a decisive 49-21 victory over La Joya Juarez-Lincoln. The Mustangs, now 5-2 with a 3-1 district record, showcased their offensive prowess with six different players contributing to the scoring. Quarterback Kane Coy played a key role, throwing three touchdown passes to David Hinojosa, Caden Keller, and Daniel Rivas. Sebastian Aleman added to the offensive display with scoring plays, including a 59-yard run. Dylan Goodson ignited the game with a 55-yard touchdown run. Despite a spirited effort, La Joya Juarez-Lincoln remains winless at 0-7. McAllen Memorial's next challenge is against PSJA North, while the Huskies will face Edinburg Vela in upcoming games.
