Bears Dominate Economedes in District Matchup

The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears continued their impressive season with a 42-7 victory over the Edinburg Economedes on Friday night. The Bears' offense was unstoppable, with quarterback Myles Lopez throwing for three touchdowns and running back Jorge Alanis adding two touchdowns on the ground.

The game started with a bang, as the Bears scored on their opening drive with a 6-yard touchdown run by Alanis. Economedes was unable to respond, and the Bears continued to pour it on in the second quarter with another touchdown pass from Lopez and a field goal.

The Bears' defense kept Economedes out of the end zone all night, forcing multiple turnovers and limiting the Economedes offense to just a handful of first downs. The Bears continued to dominate in the second half, scoring two more touchdowns to seal the victory.

With the win, the Bears improve to 5-2 on the season. They will face Weslaco High next week.

The Bears' victory over the Economedes was a complete team effort. The offense was efficient and explosive, while the defense was dominant. The Bears' special teams also played a key role in the victory.
